My videos were never intended as tutorials, just a quick look at how it's done. But if you read what I have written on this site you shouldn't have any problem using the jamb peg.

A hard stop is not used on a jamb peg but I've been cutting a lot of very small stones and it can be time consuming when cutting the crown mains, overcut a fraction and recut is not a problem, but if it happens again then material is lost and the crown is getting shallow. The home made hard stop fixes this, takes seconds instead of minutes and every main is near perfect.
In this video I cut 12 small emerald cut zircons, about 4 hours actual cutting.
The emerald cut would have to be the favorite stone for jamb peg users.
This video refers to some of the dopsticks which came with the SOM machine. and would also apply to most of the Indian & Chinese dopsticks. We have a perfect machine and the dops should match. Here is a simple fix for the main problem you may encounter with these dopsticks.
